Discovery Harbour is now closed for the season

Living History: Discovery Harbour, a 30 acre living history attraction nestled along the shores of beautiful Penetanguishene Bay, is waiting for you and your family to join in the adventure! Come and meet sailors and soldiers, view shipwrecks, step aboard vessels, and so much more.

Free admission programs: Discovery Harbour offers free admission to children under the age of 5, Indigenous peoples, Ontario teachers, Members of the Canadian Armed Forces; and a support person accompanying a paying guest with a disability. Guided tours are excluded. If you qualify for one of these programs, please present valid ID upon arrival. Learn more.

Guided tours: Join a tour offered by a costumed historical interpreter for an additional $5 (tax included) per person. Recommended for people ages 10 and up. After selecting your admission tickets, choose your tour language, add a tour ticket for each member of your party, then select a tour time from the drop down. French tours are available at 12:30 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday.

Make it a getaway! Book an overnight experience and stay in one of our cozy new four-season waterfront cabins, just off the historic site. Admission to Discovery Harbour is included in the cost of your stay!
