at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons and Martyrs' Shrine

Now in its 25th year, First Light is an award-winning, must-see holiday event with a great lineup of family activities and live musical performances, all amidst the spectacular glow of thousands of candles.

How to buy tickets: From the menu below, select the date you wish to attend, and how many adults, seniors, students and youth tickets you want to purchase. ***Please note that all sales are final.** Patrons wishing to book a holiday meal can purchase an admission/dinner package through Restaurant Sainte-Marie . Guests can book the Candlelight Chorus and Behind-the-scenes experiences as add-ons below.

Free admission: Children 5 and under get in for free. The following groups also don't have to pay admission, but must present valid ID at our admission express lane upon arrival: First Nations, Métis and Inuit people; season pass holders; members of the Canadian Armed forces; a support person accompanying a paid guest with a disability. Please only add paid admission to your order. If you are eligible for free admission and would also like to book a holiday dinner, call Restaurant Sainte-Marie at 705-321-2912.

Make it a getaway! Book an overnight experience and stay in one of our cozy new four-season waterfront cabins, just off the historic site. Your First Light tickets are included in the cost of your stay!

Want to save money? If you typically visit Discovery Harbour and/or Sainte-Marie among the Hurons two or three times a year, check out our season passes ! For just $35, tax included, you get unlimited admission to both historic sites, including most special events!
