First Light 2025 is November 27 to December 14, Thursdays through Sundays, 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons

Now in its 25th year, First Light is an award-winning, must-see holiday event with a great lineup of family activities and live musical performances, all amidst the spectacular glow of thousands of candles.

This year, explore two destinations for the price of one: Sainte-Marie and Martyrs' Shrine!

How to buy tickets: From the menu below, select the date you wish to attend, and how many adults, seniors, students and youth tickets you want to purchase. ***Please note that all sales are final.** Patrons wishing to book a holiday meal will soon be able to purchase an admission/dinner package through Restaurant Sainte-Marie. Tickets for the First Light Behind-the-scenes experience are coming soon on EventBrite.

Free admission: Children 5 and under get in for free. The following groups also don't have to pay admission, but must present valid ID at our admission express lane upon arrival: First Nations, Métis and Inuit people; season pass holders; members of the Canadian Armed forces; a support person accompanying a paid guest with a disability. Please only add paid admission to your order.

Want to save money? If you typically visit Discovery Harbour and/or Sainte-Marie among the Hurons two or three times a year, check out our season passes ! For just $35, tax included, you get unlimited admission to both historic sites, including most special events!
