Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples' Day at Sainte-Marie!
For generations, many Indigenous communities have celebrated their culture and heritage on or near this day – the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. Join Sainte-Marie in marking this special occasion.
- Educational day on Thursday, June 18: Enjoy a full-day of hands-on learning about First Nations and Métis cultures. Watch large drum and dance performances. Listen to traditional stories in the longhouse. Play Indigenous games and make crafts. Taste delicious three sisters soup. And so much more!
- Legends of Lacrosse on Sunday, June 21: Get hands-on instruction from some of the world’s top lacrosse players—including a professional athlete from the Toronto Rock—and explore the rich history of the Creator’s Game, as well as Sainte-Marie’s role in it. To register for a skills training session, please add tickets ($12 with tax per event participant - both players and their supporters) and select one skills-session timeslot ($6.78 with tax per player) below. Your confirmation email will include a link to an additional player registration form, which helps session leaders tailor their training approach.
